There's a Graeter's in the suburbs of my city, where a friend likes to go. That's my only real connection to Graeter's. I like it, but not as much as Haagen-Dazs. One, it's more expensive than H-D at the supermarket, and is only infrequently on sale.

May 26, 2024 · I'll give it a solid 7.4/10. All components were really good, but combined it just didn't put it over the top for me. I will say, this is the first (but won't be the last) Graeter's flavor I've tried, and was very impressed with the quality of the base.

Graeter’s is better. Graeter’s gives you full scoops while Jeni’s gives you half scoops. Graeter’s never had listeria issues. Graeter’s has the classics, while 75% of Jeni’s flavors are experimental and a huge miss (although I will say that Jeni’s Intelligentsia Black Cat Espresso is the best ice cream flavor I’ve ever had).

Jeni's has flavors you may have never heard of in unique pairings. They have small batches and are consistently being creative with high quality ingredients. Jun 3, 2024 · 6/10 - I love Mint Chocolate Chip. I love the Graeter’s flavors I’ve tried. Always have a delicious base with generous mix ins. Their cookies & cream, for example, is phenomenal. But something didn’t work out here. It’s not bad, but it’s also just not very good. Has a weird, mediciney sort of after taste. Maybe too strong on the mint?
